About the CNPP

The Plan is an industry-wide arrangement for eligible workers in the nuclear decommissioning industry.  The information on the web-site is a guide to the range of benefits available to members of the Plan.  As part of protections under the Energy Act 2004 eligible workers are entitled to no less favourable employment terms including pensions.  The NDA is satisfied that the benefits under the new pension arrangements are no less favourable than the benefits of the CPS and that the valuable protections afforded by the Energy Act 2004, which provide for members' security, have been met.  The CPS Members' Benefit Structure of the Plan will therefore generally replicate the benefits available under the CPS.

CPS Members' Benefit Structure benefits will be provided to all transferring members previously eligible to join the CPS and who join the Plan.  Subject to any information requirements, membership is automatic unless you positively opt out.
