This site provides information on retirement and other pension benefits provided under the nuclear decommissioning industry wide pension scheme.
This pension scheme is known as the Combined Nuclear Pension Plan, and has been established by the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, NDA, for:
Transferring members previously in the Combined Pension Scheme (CPS)
This applies to Site Licence Company former members of the UKAEA CPS who transfer to the CNPP when there is a change in their SLC's Parent Body Organisation (PBO).
This section of the website relates solely to benefits available to transferring members previously in the CPS. If you are a new employee joining a SLC after it has transferred to the private sector, you should read the information available in the Defined Contribution Section.
This website provides a guide to the main benefits and conditions of the Plan. It does not cover every aspect – the full details are contained in the Trust Deed and Rules, which will be the legal basis of the Plan. Nothing on this website can replace the Trust Deed and Rules, and if there is any difference, the Trust Deed and Rules will apply.
