Merger of Magnox Section and RSRL Section

On 1 April 2015 the RSRL Section of the CNPP was merged into the Magnox Section and Magnox Limited has become the sponsoring employer of the former RSRL Section. The merging of the Sections in the CNPP mirrors the merging of companies; Magnox Limited and RSRL Limited. All RSRL current and former employees who are members of the CNPP are now in the Magnox Section. The Trustee of the CNPP would like to reassure RSRL members that the merger will not change members’ benefits within the CNPP.

Post March 2014 budget changes

9th December 2014

Following the recent announcement by the Government on Freedom and Choice in pensions, the NDA has confirmed that it is considering how the benefit of the proposed Government changes could be made available to CNPP members. The Trustee looks forward to working with the NDA on how to implement any appropriate changes.
